Dave Hoang texted me while I was at work and told me that Converse rented out the Pink Motel Pool for a one night skate sesh to celebrate Rune Glifberg's Shoe Release. I figured this would be a once in a lifetime opportunity to skate one of the most famous pools in the world. So I strapped the skateboard to the motor bike and made my way through the heart of LA at rush hour and out to the valley.

Converse re-surfaced the whole pool and added transition to parts of the shallow end so you could keep lines goin.
Shallow lookin to the deep. Check out the hip on the left... The transition is perfect.

I don't know why I like this photo so much.. It's just a carve to the shallow end by Christain, but something about it draws me in. Definitely classic style.
For some reason I was having trouble getting good skate photos, but this one of Lance doing an invert on the deathbox came out decent.
PK was there killing it too... He was askin about Kyle... you would've killed it! Stand up grinds for days! Coping was perfect.
